This past weekend, I hosted a baby shower for my beautiful friend Callie. She has the sweetest 4 year old daughter and is pregnant with a boy! I am so excited for her and loved getting together with my friends and showering her with love and well wishes.
It was a casual baby shower where we ate yummy food and chatted. Anytime a group of moms get together the conversation always seems to turn to one thing….babies! Almost all of my friends have babies and it’s inevitable that we sit around and talk about babies. We talk about the challenges we have with our children, cute things our children do, milestones in their lives, and of course our favorite baby products.
One things I’ve been trying to do lately with my baby shower gifts is to give more practical gifts. Yes, everyone loves getting lots of cute baby clothes at their baby shower. But when it comes down to it, you want to make sure you are fully prepared for your child by having the things that you really need at home.
I gave my friend a gift of more essential baby items, including WaterWipes. I explained that I have been using WaterWipes since my son was born (read about it HERE). They helped me clear up a bad diaper rash he had, and have helped prevent any future diaper rashes because they are a chemical free wipe with only 2 ingredients – 99.9% pure Irish water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract.
I gave out samples of WaterWipes at the baby shower so that these moms could try them out for themselves and see how amazing they are! A few moms have children who are out of diapers, so I recommended using them for hand and face wipes. They are the best hand and face wipes I’ve found! They are not only a durable wipe, but because there are no chemicals in these wipes they are a safer, more natural option for your child.
Best of luck to my friend Callie with the remainder of her pregnancy!
