Oh my goodness! I cannot believe that 4 years ago I gave birth to my first baby! I will never forget the moment she laid on my chest for the first time. She has brought so much joy since that day. Here we are four YEARS later!
When little Elle begged for a Cinderella birthday party after seeing the new movie, I thought, “How fitting!” She is so kind and considerate, loves to clean, and adores animals. How could I say no?! Well, as you can guess, I didn’t. But, since I am not a party thrower, I just put together a simple “ball” for a few of Elle’s little girlfriends.
I started out with some darling invitations by Popobell. If you haven’t seen her creative party printables, check out her Etsy shop! Then we stopped by Orson Gigi and scored a glass slipper cookie cutter for $.99. I printed a darling word art image on my home printer and found an old frame laying around. The printable was made by Rebeca at Simple As That (there are tons of amazing printables on this blog, so check it out). The evening before the party I made some rice crispy treat butterfly wands and last of all I went to the dollar store to grab plates, napkins, cups and tablecloths. Voila! It was so fun to see the little princesses enjoying themselves.
*And remember, if you are throwing a party for toddlers, be sure to have lots of adult helping hands. Ashley, my mom and some of the guests’ moms were a huge help!
