ON-THE-GO SNACKING WITH SOMERSAULTS

This post was sponsored by Somersaults Sunflower Seed Snacks as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Some days I dream about just being able to stay home and chill on a weekday morning or afternoon with my son. However, there is almost no “staying home” for myself and my busy toddler. He is as active as they come and wants to be out of the house running around, exploring, and playing. I love this about him, but it also means that I’m on-the-go most of the day.

On a typical day, we leave the house about 9am and head to a gymnastics or music class, or the park or a museum. Then we come back for nap time (yes, I usually need a nap too), and after Nikson wakes we go out for an afternoon outing the another park, on a play date, or whatever else I can think of to get his energy out so he’ll go down for bed easily.

I always take extra time each morning to make sure I’ll have adequate snacks for the day packed in my diaper bag. Packing snacks for a picky eater has been challenging for me. However, I was introduced to Somersaults Sunflower Seed Snacks and Nikson and I are both obsessed!

Somersaults Sunflower Seed Snacks come in 4 flavors (Sea Salt, Salt & Pepper, Cinnamon, & Dutch Cocoa) and have been a game changer for us because they’re a good source of protein, fiber, and healthy fats. I should note that I don’t share the Dutch Cocoa flavor with my son. Not because I don’t want him to have something sweet, but because they are literally so delicious that I want them all for myself! These snacks are non-GMO, vegan, and the #1 ingredient in them is sunflower seeds – a nutritionally dense superfood! They are a healthy snack that my son will actually eat! I feel confident taking them to places with other children, and sharing with friends because they are a nut free snack and I don’t have to worry about those who may have nut allergies.
