Nothing makes it feel more like the holidays than drinking a yummy cup of hot cocoa! I always love ordering a flavored hot chocolate from Starbucks, but hate how expensive it is, which is why I was so excited when my brother showed me how to make this salted caramel hot cocoa at home!
Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate

-
4 TBSP cocoa

4 TBSP sugar
-
Dash of salt
-
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
-
2/3 cup hot water
-
2 cups milk
-
2 TBSP salted caramel syrup
-
Whipped Cream to top
-
Caramel to top
- Sea Salt to top

2. Immediately after boiling, add milk, vanilla and caramel syrup.
3. Heat for a few more minutes until you reach desired drinking temperature.
4. Pour in mugs and garnish with whipped cream, caramel, and a dash of sea salt.

This looks so delicious! What a great idea!
Salted Caramel.. whoa! I am totally a caramel girl. And salt. Both of them. Together 🙂 I go get frozen yogurt less than a mile from my house and top it with brownies and caramel. Then I bring it home to sprinkle a little bit of kosher salt on it. Amazing! Love this idea! I want some of this now.
Stop. I cannot handle this — too good! I must not make this or I will never stop drinking it!
I love everything about this. This is going to be made this week for sure! Thank you!
