THANKSGIVING DAY ACTIVITIES FOR TODDLERS

thanksgiving-day-toddler-activites

Thanksgiving Day is filled with delicious aromas, large food portions and families gathering together.  This all sounds lovely to us adults.  And hungry teenage boys (as long as the football game is on in the background). What a toddler sees on Thanksgiving Day is having to sit still in his dinner chair for a long time while an adult tries to convince them to taste Aunt Sally’s stuffing.  Toddlers are active little people.  Although we need to teach them manners and rules, we also need to realize that they cannot sit still for long periods of time without something to engage them.  That is why I have come up with this list of Thanksgiving Day activities for toddlers.

If you read my Birthday Party Games for 3-Year-Olds post then you know I like simple and easy!  These Thanksgiving Day activities for toddlers take minimal preparation and most can be done right at the dinner table while the adults eat.  I can’t wait to try these out next week on my little turkeys!  I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!!
